Choreographed by Umeshi Rajeendra in collaboration with Malaka Mp, “Deconstruct the Embody” was a multidisciplinary project showing how different disciplines string together a story through contemporary movement.
Performed at Lionel Wendt Art gallery, Sri Lanka. the performance began with a tour of the exhibited pieces followed by a contemporary dance at any random point. We welcomed people to experience the exhibition followed by the dance perfomance and find link between the choreography to the images.
